Action Alerts

Are you concerned about threats to birds and critical habitat in Michigan? Do you want to help preserve the quality of Michigan's air, water, and land? Do you want your voice to be heard on environmental issues that are important to you and that impact bird conservation in the state? Do you feel your efforts could be more effective as part of a group of like-minded conservationists?

Here is a quick, simple, and effective way you can learn about upcoming legislation, as well as keep abreast of new research findings that impact birds and their habitats. Become part of Michigan Audubon's Action Alert network.

When you join the Action Alerts network, you will receive periodic emails with background information on specific critical environmental issues. The information may just be to keep you posted on evolving environmental issues or you may be asked to respond to pending legislation. You may choose to phone, FAX, and/or E-mail targeted policy leaders or your local newspaper. On occasion, a sample letter will be included in the material you receive. Simply personalize the enclosed sample letter and send it on its way via FAX or E-mail, or pick up the phone and call. It's simple. It's painless. It's effective.

Help protect our environmental heritage! Get involved! Sign up today!
