CraneFest

We had a great time at the Fifteenth Anniversary of CraneFest in October! Visitors had the opportunity to see an enourmous number of Sandhill Cranes at Big Marsh Lake. A record number of cranes were counted at the wetland on Michigan's "Crane Count" day (a fluctuating date, it was held on October 30 this year) with approximately 9,400 + cranes roosting at Baker Sanctuary.
Join us on October 9 & 10, 2010 as we hold the Sixteenth Annual CraneFest.
Michigan Audubon is proud to work in cooperation with Kiwanis of Battle Creek to present the annual Cranefest event.
