Event Series Event Series: COMMUNITY: CraneFest XXIX
On Oct 12 & 13, 2024, from noon to dusk, the Kiwanis Club of Battle Creek invites you to witness and celebrate the annual fall migration of thousands of Sandhill Cranes — when these majestic birds leave their favorite feeding fields at dusk and head to Big Marsh Lake. Dress for the weather, and don’t forget your binoculars.
CraneFest takes place at Kiwanis Youth Conservation Area, 22300 15 Mile Rd, Bellevue, MI 49021.
Artist Village, Guided Nature Walks, Nonprofit Displays, Bird Watching, Food Truck, Live animal presentations
$7 weekend parking fee (buses $1 per person) – a donation toward the education and conservation of this important Michigan habitat
