April 18, 2018 @ 7:00 pm
“Hometown Habitat, Stories of Bringing Nature Home” is a 90-minute environmental education documentary by award-winning director Catherine Zimmerman. The film features renowned entomologist Dr. Douglas Tallamy, whose research, books and lectures on the use of non-native plants in landscaping have focused attention on habitat and species loss. The movie highlights projects from around the country where people are working together to reverse this trend and restore habitat for birds, pollinators, and all wildlife.
