Wild Ones members (and friends) are invited to a walk to explore The Little Forks Conservancy’s invasive species management at the Averill Preserve. We’ll look at control techniques as well as some of the Conservancy’s native planting areas. For several years, the Conservancy’s volunteers have been tackling autumn olive and spotted knapweed among other non-native plants.
Directions: From Midland, take North Saginaw Road towards Sanford. Follow North Saginaw Road for approximately 5 miles to Wackerly Road. Turn left onto Wackerly Road. The Averill Preserve is immediately on the left.
